Colour Space

Greyscale and RGB:
A greyscale image is made up of different shades of grey. Each pixel in a greyscale image is one shade of grey. This is because a pixel can only be one colour.
RGB is the colour model relating to the three colours, Red, Green and Blue, by mixing these colours together using a variety of hues they will be able to make any colour.  

YUV:

RGB is the colour model relating to the three colours, Red, Green and Blue, by mixing these colours together using a variety of hues they will be able to make any colour.
