Matching Activity:
Disney-They own lots of companies such as Pixar, ESPN, ABC, Freeform, Touchstone. Bob Iger is the currently the owner of Disney.
Bauer Media-Yvonne Bauer founded the company. They have su companies like Bauer City, Absolute Radio, Emap Radio, ACR Magazine.
Sky-The owner is Jeremy Darroch. They have lots of sub companies such as, Sky Business, Sky Media, Sky Sports, The Tunnel, Amstrand, Eastnet and Game of Thrones.
Time Warner-Owned by Jeff Bewkes and Warner Bros. They own HBO, Cinemax and content distribution.
Endemol-Owner Sophie Turner Laing, make lots of shows, master chef, The Island, and one born every minute, they joined with shine group.
Johnstone Press-Make the Sheffield Star, Yorkshire Post, Johnstone Publishing, Worksop Guardian, and Iconic.
BBC-Own lots of radio, studios, News and worldwide and was founded by tony hall.

SMART target Thursday 28th April 2016

In this one hour session, I think that I will be able to complete my first sector on film companies.

I was fairly close to completing my target, i probably would have only needed an extra ten minutes to finish it off but i still did a lot of work.

Feedback from Josh

I only have one concern, and that is that you need to break it up into paragraphs. Cheers Josh mate I'll take your advice into consideration.
I have made use of Josh's advice and i have split my work into paragraphs.

Creative Media Sector task 1

-I have learnt that in film, lots of large companies have taken over smaller companies to make sub companies, and i was surprised how many large companies like Disney own.
-I have learnt that in TV, their a lots of TV providers and companies that do different things so that different channels can be aired.
-Next week i will need to add more things to my film sector and start/finish my tv sector.
